  1. Portfolio Management of Key Customers involving Contract Negotiations, delivering profitable business for internal & Partners, developing picture of success for each customer & constantly identifying levers for growing business of the particular channel
  2. The purpose of the role is to oversee and guide all key account related activities at a Zonal level for a specific key account business vertical like modern trade

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop standard key account Terms & Conditions for designated channel and ensure compliance.
  2. Support the National Key Account Manager in negotiations with key accounts customers.
  3. To coordinate with Accounts and front-line team on activation as per DEEP RED.
  4. To Allocate & Monitor Budgets for Consumer Promotions, category visibility & Merchandising for the Key Accounts.
  5. To continue growing market share across categories
  6. Generate actionable consumer/shopper insights to maximize profit in the key accounts of the designated channel.
  7. To build sound customer relationship enhancing mutual business association
  8. New Account Acquisition-Grow the National Portfolio by aggressively acquiring large Key Accounts in India as well as tying up with International Key Accounts for the particular channel.


  1. Tracking of spend in line with BP plans and ensuring profitability
  2. Driving Cost advantages through the channel in terms of activities and promotions.

Business Analysis

  1. Mapping competition activities and bringing ideas on how to win in outlet.
  2. Identify gaps & growth opportunities in various key accounts as per PITA model

Job Requirement

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: Graduate or Post Graduate/ MBA (Sales and Marketing)

Experience: 6-8 years in managing modern trade, preferably form South India

Functional Skills:
