Objective: Mitigate regulatory, policy and reputational risks that may impede business operations, through proactive stakeholder engagement and advocacy. Shape and co-create policies with relevant stakeholders to pave the path forward for growth and progress of the country and the company. Build trust amongst stakeholders through cohesive campaigns and narratives. The position will interact with State Heads, Administrative Heads of States, State Legislatures, Think Tanks, Industry Associations on the items listed in the State list and also with policy making bodies in the Centre for items in the Concurrent list of the Constitution.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Mitigate regulatory, policy and reputational risks that may impede business operations
•    Proactive stakeholder engagement and advocacy basis well identified process and tracking metrices
•    Monitor regulatory landscape to manage risks and share insights 
•    Ensure engagement and execution is aligned to key positioning and messaging (incl. narrative) of HCCB 
•    Strategically guide the company brand experience for stakeholders, within and outside of plant
•    Act as an advisor, counsellor to the senior management of the company on public affairs 
•    Design, develop and deploy engagement plans tailored to company’s business objectives, including building trust amongst key segments
•    Lead and partner other functions to develop and share relevant content across relevant channels

Key Customers
Internal Customers: All Functions 
External Customers: State Governments, State Legislatures, State Administrations, Industry bodies, Think tanks, Academia, Content, and creative agencies
Job Requirements: 
Qualifications: Post Graduate degree from a reputed Institution 
Experience: 18-20 years in the field of Public Policy, Public Affairs, Advocacy, Political campaigning, governance, or administration
Functional Skills: 
•    Knowledge of policy making and political landscape
•    Ability to work with Policy makers and third parties to make the case for positive change
•    Strong relationships with policy makers, regulators, government bodies, legislatures
•    Experience of working in public affairs, advocacy, political campaigning, think tanks or in the political domain 
•    Knowledge of issues and trends in the manufacturing sector and the broader social, economic, political, and environmental landscape
•    Knowledge of crisis and issues management
•    Strategic thinking and effective networking and influencing skills 
•    Ability to handle ambiguity that comes with working in cross functional teams 
•    Excellent communication skills, and ability to attend sensitively to various stakeholder issues
•    Fluent in speaking, reading, writing in English and local languages
