Objective: Design, develop and deploy narratives and communication plans tailored to the company’s business objectives, including building trust amongst key segments. Ensure government narratives, Executive communications, employer value proposition and social media narratives are aligned to key positioning statement of the company. The job seeks to enhance and preserve the reputation of the company, hence it will roll-out communication plans to hit pre-aligned measurement objectives. It will lead and partner other functions to develop and share relevant content across channels. It will develop guidelines, narrative and experience for plant tours. It will deploy trust survey across relevant stakeholders such that communication messages and narratives can be tweaked and targeted.

Job Responsibilities:

•    Build trust for the corporate brand. Earn social license. Make HCCB a great place to work
•    Drive niche, tailor made as well as national campaigns targeted at audiences, using HCCB’s social media strength 
•    Work with stakeholder engagement teams to weave narratives that make the case for positive change
•    Ensure engagement and execution is aligned to key positioning and messaging including narrative of HCCB
•    Play an enabling role in ensuring a unique but consistent company brand experience for stakeholders, within and outside of factories
•    Continuously assess new platforms and channels for communication and narrative building
•    Evolve, test and nuance new communication campaigns models 
•    Assess and deploy technology for efficient communication and outreach, inside and outside the organisation

Job Requirements: 

Qualifications: Post Graduate degree from a reputed Institution 

Experience:  10-12 years of Senior editorial / messaging / campaign responsibility at a campaign agency or a corporate

Functional Skills: 

•    Ability to discover stories and narrate them across a variety of platforms ranging from social media till traditional editorials in print 
•    Editorial capabilities including excellent writing and editing skills
•    Knowledge of social media, reach, distribution, measurement and metrices
•    Knowledge of branding, marketing, communications, and campaigns
•    Ability to create strong narratives and campaigns, customized to the audience
•    Knowledge of issues and trends in the manufacturing sector and the broader social, economic, political, and environmental landscape
•    Strategic thinking and effective networking and influencing skills 
•    Ability to handle ambiguity that comes with working in cross functional teams 
•    Excellent communication skills, and ability to attend sensitively to various stakeholder issues
•    Fluent in speaking, reading, writing in English and local languages
